Someone please tell me how the first responders of 9/11 aren’t invited due to lack of room to the ceremony at Ground Zero on the 10th anniversary when politicians are being PAID to attend. Say what you want, but that is one of the most disheartening things I’ve heard in a long time. These men and women risked their lives on the biggest American tragedy since Pearl Harbor and they’re being treated like dirt. Not okay.

Clearly, I did not continue the challenge…oh well. In any case I am home now…sort of. See, my mom is moving to New Orleans in late June and the house is already sold. So we are currently staying in a long-stay hotel in town so that my brothers can finish out their school year. So I’m “home.” Good news is that my bed came today…I’ve been sleeping on the couch because there are only two bedrooms, and the fold up bed my mom ordered for me just came. Hopefully that is more comfortable.
